Dashing across the sand.
No one to hold my hand.
Running past the ocean.
Land is out in the open.
Not knowing where I'm headed.
I get confused, lost and dreaded.
Glancing everywhere, no hope.
Of ever untangling my rope.
Then footprints appear in front of me.
It is large, a man's, it appears to be.
Looking up is the image of a shadow.
Eyes beckon, scream for the fellow.
The shadow slowly turns into a figure.
I cry, like a gun pulled by it's trigger.
As he untangles my conscious knots.
I'm hurt no longer, the pain is forgot.
I turn to thank, but could see none.
Sensing it was God, his deed done.
Rejoice, the Messiah has arrived.
Come forth, deliver us from strife.
