A poem for Alexis Romanov.

Spirit Brother.

Have you ever seen absolute red wine?
Has it ever told you that it mirrors time?
It came from the purple grapes.
The one's who love for it's taste.

Then people knocked the bottle over.
Gravity quickly pulling it with power.
The bottle shatters in a nick of time.
And out comes the river of red wine.

"That's precious" one would usually say.
Then I say: "never let a drop go to waste."
But others neither listen nor even care.
"Mop the red up!" And that is not fair.

Once upon a time there lived a boy.
He had a mountain full of good toys.
Each day he would get lavish meals.
Anything to drink was a simple deal.
They looked at his Navy sailor cap and uniform.
His Native American simple lodge so adorned.
This one thing that he loved the most.
The end away he was forced to throw.
People admired but jealousy arose.
But in his world it was always cold.
Around the fire people he knew gathered.
Musical instruments everywhere clattered.
He hurt his body, red slowly flowing from deep within.
They smelled blood and stopped to curse this great sin.

Imperial Russia could never last another day after.
Because poverty in this motherland had taken over.
Civilians turn into soldiers and start using rifles.
The imperial objects sell for nothing but a trifle.
So he starts to run, run not for the sake of his own life.
But for those, unable to escape from this horrible plight.
He runs and falls. His hands then soak with red stain.
A bullet struck him and he lets go, without cries of pain.
His spirit departs, but we all know it is not for long.
He will come back to fight evil with us until it is gone.

Spirit brother, may you rest in peace.
So if you do, everyone will be at ease.
